Kinect Puffersphere Has its Eye on You

The Kinect sees when a person walks up and the eye pops up on the sphere and then follows the person as they walk around the room.

The guys from The Technology Studio have a quick description of how they made it work here, and you can even grab the code over at Github.

Check out the Eye of Sauron version of the demo.

Samurai Darth (12”x16” Poster)

This piece was inspired by The Vader Project, in which countless helmets were customized according to the whim of the contributing artist. I remembered seeing one with a bushy horsehair moustache and definate Samurai stylings. It was fantastic.
This is my vision of a Samurai Darth.
The Japanese lettering, (kanji), at the top reads “Star” and “War”. The kanji at the bottom reads “becoming darkness”.

USD$9.99

Our latest project has just hit the store!!

It’s a 2D, bird-eye-view racer where you pilot one of four modified Japanese import-type cars around 25 tracks in five countries.
Gameplay advances when you score a bronze trophy as it unlocks the next track (and sometimes a new car). Finish New Zealand and you’re off across the ditch to compete in Australia.
The Australian tracks are rendered in red dirt which makes them distinct from New Zealand.

All five countries – New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA and Japan – have their own style.
